Our Holidays

WP's sister and his mother, A.P. who is 87

WP's lovely daughters M an L, lighting the Menorah, in honor of their Jewish heritage on their mom's side

My Supergirls

Left: Supergirl Two and her BFF S.A. (whom I've known and loved since she was born)

Some favorite gifts

A Santa from SG2

A cool stapler from WP's daughter M

Dark truffles from WP

And this sums it up in the form of a warm pair of socks with a logo, from WP's daughter L. :-)

If you'd like to check out my holiday slideshow on the side bar, there are a ton of photos there. Just click on it and it will take you to Picassa where they can be viewed bigger.

I finally had success in figuring out how to install a slideshow, so this is a major technoligical victory for me!

  14. JCF: Hey! It's nice to hear from you.

About me and photos...I'm actually glad you brought this up. I'm usually the one taking pictures, so I have to ask "special" for someone to take mine. That's for starters. I do have one that was taken on Christmas Eve. And guess what? I had two gigantic stains on my shirt from baking all day. Ugh.

And then there is the matter of
"privacy", if you will. I'm not all that keen on having my blog discovered by my co-workers. I maintain a high level of privacy in the workplace; this particular workplace. It's a stiffling environment for me there.

But I may throw in a few into the slideshow. Stay tuned...make sure you're sitting down! ;-)

  15. DCup: the socks are delicious! And teh Frida socks I plan on wearing with a big-lady pair of harem pants! ;-) I love to scare people!

Ed: 83% Happy. Like the Mona Lisa. just...errr...older. :-) (see my sidebar)

Kenju(dy)I'm hoarding those truffles like a madwoman! But if you were here, I would definately share. :-)

Steve: Thanks, Steve. There have been many life struggles for the individuals pictured but we have managed well enough to stay connected and to keep love at the center of lives. And that also means compassion and forgiveness. Life can be hard but also so beautiful. I really am grateful.

Bet: I hope you and hubby had a great day together.

Dianne: thanks. I have a lot of computer troubles, too, so the combination was exasperating!! But finally...

I love your photo blog. Those Shadow Shot photos were really super! :-)

Sherry: How was the squid? I'm jealous!!! :D

Bobbie: We loved having all four girls home. Blended or not, we manage to stay happy; albeit the dark moments; which we have had exceptionally lots of. I look forward to your family photos on Almost There. I always enjoy them a lot. That little Isaac is such a cutie. :-)

CR: It was great to see you and Gary. Nice that we can have that little get-together. Maybe less champagne next time! ;-)

Thank you for coming by, all of you wonderful, spirited bloggy friends! I think you guys are wonderful. Thanks for the kindness!

    Love, Love, Love,
    Gina
