Just over the line from the Massachusetts town of Northfield, is the small town of Hindsdale, New Hampshire, the home of one of the oldest drive-in cinemas in the region.

a tempestuous sky leading up to a long summer thunder storm, making the viewing of the Transformers movie virtually impossible. What a shame! ;-)
Let's just say we go for the cinematic experience, as the films are rarely top notch. We were given a little tour of the projection house and learned first-hand some of the mechanics of projecting analog film and sound onto the large outdoor screen. I'll have to take photos in the projection room next time and possibly interview the projectionist and his assistant.
