There was a Picasso period in the 1950's and early 1960's when he created and painted ceramics and linoleum cuts . I love these artworks and I wanted to share them with you.
Large, high resolution images of Picasso's ceramics and linoleum cuts are hard to come by on the internet. These actually look better than I expected.
Enjoy!

nice. i like the look.
ReplyDeleteThose are great examples of his work. I took a class on Picasso at Indiana University and loved it, but when I went to the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, that was the best.
ReplyDeleteI love the linoleum cuts!
ReplyDeleteThese are all beautiful. Can't decide which I enjoy most, so I guess I will just enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for coming by and acknowledging through your comments.
ReplyDeleteDCup: I so envy you, having gone to Barcelona. I have only driven through Spain as a child but have never actually traveled there. With fuel prices the way they are, it's not looking likely that I will go there anytime soon.
We wanted to go to Amsterdam this summer, which would include vising the Van Gogh museum, but airline prices are just too high.
