Perfect Day - Lou Reed

I looked all over for New York, the newest Lou Reed CD I own, and couldn't find it. I'll leave you with Perfect Day as I get ready to step out the door with W.P. to go see Lou Reed at The Calvin Theater in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Blogger's being difficult today, but here it goes, errors or not.

  2. Very good.

I also love Laurie Anderson's work, though it doesn't seem to be as readily accessible to we proles in the boondocks.

Another reason to move to Brooklyn.

  3. I'll have to post a little about the concert. It was fun.

johnieb: I've liked what I've been exposed to of Laurie Anderson. Doesn't she just hole up in New York with Lou?

I chuckled at your comment about moving to Brooklyn. Man, NY. What a fecking cool place. I am very much due for a visit.

  4. Laurie was at The Calvin last year, and we missed it. I think, having seen The Velvet Underground back in The Day, I'd rather watch for her return than Lou's.

    Though Lou rocks my world.

  6. bear: I'm just catching up to your comment. I love Reed's New York and I think I've lost it. I may have to go scout the used CD store for a copy. It's one of my faves of all time, by anyone. Of course, the list runs hundreds!
