Somewhat Surrealistic Sunday

I've been posting a lot of weird art lately, so as a visual antidote, I'd like to share with you some pleasing images by Serbian  Dusanka Petrovic - Душанка Петровић, born 1948. I couldn't find any other biographical information.   More images available at  Ricci-Art.

Enjoy your day. Peace and love,
Gina

Wow, I love this guy's take on blue - any kind of blue. Seems to cry out for a Miles Davis kind of musical accompaniment :-)

oh my word. I'm captivated. loving the color and the style. similar to Seurat's pointillsm? this guy had a thing for blue - our gain. I think the first and second are my favorites. sure would like either of them for my wall. thanks for turning me on - I'm not familiar with this artist. happy weekend to you Gina. Keep your toes warm.

Mona Lisa Smiles

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - The mysterious half-smile that has intrigued viewers of the Mona Lisa for centuries isn’t really that difficult to interpret, Dutch researchers said Thursday. She was smiling because she was happy — 83 percent happy, to be exact, according to scientists from the University of Amsterdam.
