The Saturday (whenver) Nudes

I know, I know. It doesn't have the same ring to it. But. Just as life takes its twists and turns, so does nudity.  ;-)  I blow myself away by my profundity. All I want to say is that the nudes did not make it last night due to the frigid temperatures in the Northeast.  It seems everything is taking longer to thaw than usual.

Happy weekend.

  1. Well, these were certainly worth waiting for - and it is fun to produce the unexpected. I imagine the nudes were surprised, too, to be appearing on a Saturday!

In frivolous mode today as the sun is shining and the birds are chirruping, hidden in the trees and bushes. I the spirit of this, to you.

  2. Better late than never...

My favorites of these are the third and the last. They make it possible, I think, to understand the inspiration that moved Henry Moore.

And these are just as much about light as they are about the figures. For several I would say the light was actually the star, and the figures have a supporting role.

  3. Aguja - thank you, darlin'. I could use a gift like that. :-)

Steve - yes. yes. yes. The light in the first one especially, is what blew me away. And the drama of the subjects.
