Still on Hopper

It is said that Edward Hopper's painting Sunday Morning was the inspiration for the Velvet Underground song of the same title.

    That last painting (the light coming in the open door) could stand for all the others... No doubt a deliberate choice.

    I had not noticed before just how many of his paintings must have been painted before 10:00 AM. Wow.
