On the Tenth Day of Christamas and The Other 15 Films Meme

illustration from Beatrix Potter's Rabbits' Christmas Party

I am almost out of steam for the last two days of Christmas but I'm still all fired up about the lists of fifteen films some of you groovy readers have left for me in comments or on your blog. Those of you who said fifteen films is too few to list - I agree!

Here is the second list of fifteen and I'm sure I could still come up with more, quite quickly.

 1. Hannah and Her Sisters - Woody Allen
 2. Priscilla of the Desert
 3. Boys Don't Cry
 4. Fargo (thanks for the reminder!)
 5. Run, Lola, Run
 6. E.T. (another one I was reminded of)
 7. The Wizard of Oz
8.  Love and Anarchy - Lina Wurtmuller
9.  The Red Violin
10.The Song Remains the Same - the Led Zeplin movie
11. Pecker - John Waters
12. I Shot Andy Warhol
13. Capote
14. The Last Picture Show
15. Monster's Ball

  2. I would love to add more but it's getting late for me and I have to be up early for a periodontal procedure. Why is it I couldn't leave all that behind too?

    Okay, here's a couple:

    Singing in the Rain
    Spirited Away
    The Third Man
    Stop Making Sense
    Glengarry Glen Ross
    Barton Fink
    Fight Club

Everyone's choices on your last post were pretty cool too :-)

  4. This has been a fun blog....the Christmas Days. I love Peter Rabbit and my son's first gift from his Mom and Dad was a stuffed duck from the series, and then the books. We bought them when I was first pregnant...had to wait awhile to see him hug that duck. Her name was Jemima Puddle-Duck. Thanks for the memory. Hug. ginger at gettingafoothold.blogspot.com

  7. This is a wonderful resource which I shall bookmark for ongoing use, just in case it disappears from your list of site links appended like a comet's tail to my blog. Don't you ever dare apologize again for those! Let the world think you are a shameless self-publicist. I think you are just naturally an angel, without trying. Not that's not fair. I know that there is a great deal of wise discrimination & enormous effort in your blog.

  8. Hi Vincent! Thank you for your kind comment and for being so gracious about the comet's tail! I enjoy your comments on these old posts AND they give me an opportunity to go back and edit the mistakes I overlooked when I posted it! Cheers!
