On the Ninth Day of Christmas...

Oh. The ninth day almost got by me...

This piece by Marc Chagall is painted on the ceiling someplace in France or Russia, I believe. Isn't it beautiful? And this I give to you on the ninth day. Have a good one!

  1. So in this room one would lie about upon the couch and stare up at the ceiling and dream about red angels, goddesses, and dancing, yes?

  2. i have been keeping up with your days of xmas and was wondering today and the other day too, how many blasted days in christmas are there anyway...now i have run through the song a couple of times, since i don't remember it exactly and 'think' it's 12? do you think you will make it? ;)

this is a wonderfully weird painting, a bit almost dante-esque or some such... i think the crystals or lights beside the painting up in the right corner add a special touch too....you too-have a good one, my dear. xx
