I couldn't think of an artist, off the top of my head, whose name; first or last, starts with X. So I did a google search and came up with an artist I'd never heard of before. Thanks ABC Wednesday! And what a bunch of nice people they are!
Always makes my day to learn something new! Interesting work! And a great one for the X Day! Hope you had a great Christmas and wishing you a very Happy New Year and, yes, lots of those groovy things!!
I agree with Sylvia - ABC Wednesday is always a fun day of discovery! Thanks so much for participating - Round 8 is just round the corner. Denise ABC Team
Aguja: I find his lines interesting. By the way, I am having trouble leaving comments on your blog and still trying to find a way around it. I hope you get this comment!
Violet Sky: I provide links to the information on the artists and their works whenever possible. I don't interpret art work, usually. Who am I to try to second-guess someone else's vision? In this case there is a link to follow if you should want to learn more. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you for taking the time to say you've been here.
I am sorry to say that I don't publish anonymous comments unless I know you through your initials, first name or blog name. I don't publish comments that have ANY kind of commercial or 'for sale' links.

Wow--What an interesting work of art. quirky and evocative. Yes, I love to discover new artists, too.

I rather like looking at his paintings. It is fun to find new contemporary artists, though I do appreciate an informed interpretation of their work!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking time to discover this 'X' artist!
ReplyDeleteI find the contrast between the buildings and their environment, quite something.
Thanks, blog friends!
