  2. I have never seen this side of Frida before! I think I've seen more "tame" images of hers, or only one or two of the more potent paintings at one time. These are disturbing and moving and powerful. This woman painted with her heart and her gut, with her blood and her bones. I better understand the admiration at Vulture Peak Muse, given what they have in common...

  6. ah gina, my heart...this morning i tried to come by and my computer wasn't working or something... so now i am back, late but here to say that this collection of paintings of one of my most loved and admired artists, a genius in putting her soul on the canvas, you have amassed such a perfect collection of her life, her life blood here...thank you for bringing her forward as in reading your comments here, i realize that many did not know this side of her... and this is the side i love best. xoxoxo
