  3. So what was with the cigarettes? Ruins the photos for me. LOL

  4. Linda - you totally get me, my friend! :-)

    SB: yup!

Kenju: it's like the old Virginia Slims commercial, I guess! ;-)

  5. So what's with not liking the cigarettes? I especially like the photos with those in. To look at nudes with a killjoy moralistic attitude seems vaguely perverted to me.

Cigarette dangling from mouth symbolises "I'm up for whatever I feel like doing, and hang the consequences. Watcha gonna do about it?"

  6. Vincent - I like the cigarettes too. I mean, back then smoking was a really daring thing for a woman to do. Especially with her clothes off! ;-) It makes those photos especially sexy and risque even today, when one considers the moral taboos of the time period.

I hope you get this comment and thank you for keeping in touch!

Also in regard to another comment you left on the Cat Stevens video. I agree!!! He sounds younger now than he did in the day! I wonder if perhaps he made his voice huskier for effect or if going all religious can stop certain aspects of aging. If it's the latter, I think I'll join Islam! ;-)

  7. The first three of these, at least, look a lot more like they were taken in the 1920s. The hairstyles, the cigarettes, what little clothing there is, and that car all are from the 20s.

  8. Jolly pix, but "Victorian?" These are from the 1920's.
