Yard Art on Thursday

I still have a few interesting yard art photos from Nova Scotia but today I'm featuring my own yard art. One is a birdhouse we brought back from Nova Scotia - see this post. Another is a set of crystal and bronze chimes from Filmore Jazz Festival in San Francisco.

Next week: some zany totally Nova Scotia yard "characters". :-)

Our birdhouse sitting atop the sugar maple in our front yard.

And here we have the source:  somewhere around Hall's Harbour, Nova Scotia

The chimes, by now weathering nicely in our yard...

and their original vending place at Filmore Jazz.

  1. You show us the coolest art. I would have it in the yard, on the porch, in the bedroom!

  2. Oh you really found some fine specimens for yard art. I wonder if those guys will attract birds or scare them away :0)

  4. I like the bird houses! I used to have one that was the face of an old man - but it was natural and tan color.

  5. I love those bird boxes. As for yard art, I had better not publish a pic of our Sheela na gig!

  6. The bearded birdhouse is a winner with me! Like Santa Claus keeping an eye on the good guys! And love the beautiful prisms of light in your chimes!
