An anchor at Hall's Harbour
This above was also taken at Scotts Bay, though obviously on an overcast day. There a few of these but largely, the weather was beautiful: sunny, fluffy clouds, hot but not humid, chilly nights.
This was a very sweet vacation and I feel blessed to have spent those two weeks with my WP, who is feeling much better these days. Thanks to those friends who asked.

Lovely photos, as ever. :)
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks. It was fun taking them.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. It looks like my sort of holiday place
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are lovely and I for one have a very special reason for liking them. Perhaps I should make a copy of that map :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to visit the Maritimes someday - a cool summer I'd like. Plus excellent seafood and scenery. The harbor must be a safe and ice free harbor all year, so the various boats that dock or anchor there must be varied. I don't know why, but I am drawn to the rusty iron anchor. A lovely relic!
ReplyDeleteReally terrific shadow shots for the day, Gina! And what a wonderful looking place! My favorite has to be the old anchor! Love it! Enjoy your weekend!

I'm glad to see you had sun to create these lovely shadows!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely area...that second shot in particular is so appealing, with the slaty cliffs softened by moss, and the calm waters of the inlet. Love the rusty old anchor and its shadow, too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place and you are doing it justice!!
