I'm glad to see there are a couple of John Prine fants out there!
I've been a fan since high school when I first discovered the album Common Sense and I've remained a fan since and will be forever. The man is right up there as a songwriting genius.
I also like the work of Irish Dement but I'm not familiar with the album Lemme and Jams mention. I will absolutely check it out.
Thanks for coming by. Peace, love and all groovy things. :-)
Thank you for taking the time to say you've been here.

Nice words to the song.
ReplyDeleteDamn I got an error. Will definitely try later. I love a duet he did with Iris Dement called In Spite of Ourselves
ReplyDeleteAh I can play it now... Excellent!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Love the Prine. Big fan of the album he did with Iris Dement.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

What a great song, and his delivery makes it priceless. Can you imagine Bruce Cockburn trying to pull that off?
ReplyDeleteThanks for having us on your mind. Loving intentions are never a bad prescription for what ails us.
Note on your poll: I suppose you could have a nude, surrealist painting.
