The Friday Evening Nudes on Sunday...

and in the afternoon, yet.

Last week, I received a complaint from a priest about The Friday Evening Nudes...

Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema

Balthus

Franz Marc

Pierre Puvis de Chavannes

Adam and Eve
Tamara de Lempicka

Paul Gaugin

Pierre Puvis de Chavannes

that the nudes were..uh...not nude enough. No further complaints from clergy, please.  ;-)

  3. Gotta love the clergy. I had one priest complain he didn't like the way he looked in a video...What's that about? He was dressed.

I love the Adam and Eve.

  5. That's much better. They are far more like the nuns I know than that last bunch. In fact, I think the painter of the second piece probably hangs around the same convents I do.

  6. Do you think the first one is a picture of the farmer's daughter advertising her father's wheat crop?

Nice selection, Pagan. I know it's something you work at.

  10. Thank you, all!

Susan: ha! I suppose it is a biblical image? Otherwise, it does make quite an advertisement!
