From the Australian band Crowded House comes their interpretation of American excess from 1991. They seemed to think that if our national gluttony is to be named after a cake, it had to be chocolate. Oh, the 90's.

what a brilliant example of Gluttony!
ReplyDeleteI loved Crowded House. Oh, the early 90's with the remnants of the 80's still clinging on, and a whole new era ushering in...gotta love the newness of that time. Hairspray was finally starting to go out of style, and neon clothes had all but vanished.
Words cannot describe the awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love this song, but never saw the video before - thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi, Fortune Cookies. They were a blast, weren't they? And the Finn brothers were such cutie men. ;-)
ReplyDeleteKay: dated, though, huh? :-)
CR: remember seeing them with Richard Thompson opening? I still don't know if we really won those tickets from the radio or not. I know for a fact that I was less spaced out than Tony S at the time. !!!! :D
"Don't Dream It's Over" is one of my all-time favorite songs...
ReplyDeleteOh, sigh...that song makes my heart melt and seeing the singer (is it Neil Finn?) sing it makes me feel me all squishy inside...what a cutie
