Happy Spring

View of Arles
Vincent Van Gogh

I've been posting some weird art lately, so tonight I thought I'd wish you all a happy Spring Equinox and post something beautiful.
Are those not the most incredible blues and purples you've ever seen?

Love,

  5. Well, the search was worth the while, then! I try to find atypical images to post even by the most well-known artists. We get saturated with the same images over and over again in the media and advertising and products. After a while, it's just like hearing the same hit songs over and over again. They lose something.

What's wonderful is that a very large and high-resolution image was available for this Van Gogh. Sometimes it's really hard to find images of art in such a large format.

    Namaste, my friends.

  6. This latest painting you've published here by Van Gogh has a feeling of deep inner insights and turmoil, that hold a magical quality with the alternately detailed sketchiness mixed with the blues and purples as though looking through two portals, the three trees...create

  7. These colors !
How to make the common become wonderful. Certainly far more beautiful than the true colors.
Can you imagine an artist painting a trunk right in the middle of its canvas ? Except a genius.

  9. why yes..... i particularly like blues and purples..... blue sky mine......

The candy store paupers lie to the share holders
Theyre crossing their fingers they pay the truth makers
The balance sheet is breaking up the sky
So Im caught at the junction still waiting for medicine
The sweat of my brow keeps on feeding the engine
Hope the crumbs in my pocket can keep me for another night
And if the blue sky mining company wont come to my rescue
If the sugar refining company wont save me
    Whos gonna save me?

in the end the rain comes down...
