A Good Day to Visit Blogs

Taken a couple of weeks agon on a blue sky day. I played around with my ancient version of photo shop and found this "ink outline" effect that was sort of fun.

It's a snow day! When I received the call at 5:30 this morning, I had a ferocious headache, so I'm grateful to be very much ensconced in my cozy house while the snow falls...and falls...and falls. It's entirely white out, except the trees that accumulate precarious layers of snow on their gray, bare branches.

I'm not quite ready to dress up in warm layers and go out there and I'm not feeling obligated to post anything in particular. So I'm gonna be a blog whore and visit as many blogs as I can for a while. That is, until it stops snowing and I can take pictures. You really can't see much out there right now.

I hope to see you on your blog today and if I don't make it and you want me to read something, please let me know!

  2. It's nice to see you out and about where it's cozy and there's not snow or ice to negotiate!

    Stay warm, Pagan!

  3. The trees in this photo are so, so beautiful!

Enjoy your blog exploring today. It's what I do every day in winter. Kitty's blog from yesterday is fun - about their Obama party.

  4. the trees are very beautiful in this photo and I was trying to figure out what you did...I guess it's that extreme outliney look or something, I couldn't figure it out...I too have an ancient PS I have never figured out nor put into my computer because the instructions were so impossible to do...point and click has to be good enough!

    blessings to you...

  5. You take beautiful pictures with point and shoot, then, Linda. I've liked the photos you've posted. I remember one of an old bathtub that was really nice.

I can't figure out Photo Shop. That is the only "effect" I've been able to use and then only on this type of shot. Makes me wish more than ever that I had a imac. They're so much better for any kind of photo related projects.

  6. I guess it's not so cold at that temperature, but it is cold to me. We are having an average of 36 - 38 celcius daily here with the monsoon quite over. It was so hot, I had trouble gardening. I am wishing for somewhere colder actually..though I know I wont survive winter for sure ;p
