The title made me think of another song, actually - by song writer and guitarist Patty Larkin. Called Island of Time. Lyrics here . It's a beautiful, wistful thing.
sailing is currently on my social site and 'i don't wanna talk about it' runs through my head. that song is so haunting and beautiful. :) i can't embed this version so i will get you the link:
Thanks, everyone. Linda: songs have a way of doing that, don't they?
Dusty: it's nice to "see" you!
Bet: thanks for the link
Liberality: don't know Al.
Steve: Patty Larkin used to play around here frequently. She's a favorite in The Valley. Also, Dar Williams, who is either a native or lived in these parts at one time.
Young Rod, up until he went to the USA in 1975, was a wonderful talent. 'Mandolin Wind' has lawys been a favourite song. 'Every Picture Tells A Story' was one of the first albums I ever owned (maybe bought around Christmas 1971 with some money I'd been given). The Faces were awesome, too.
Thank you for taking the time to say you've been here.

Google "The Year of the Cat" but I don't know that they are brothers. someone told me that years ago and I guess I never questioned it.
