I have a thing for yard art ;-)
ReplyDeleteI may one day post the yard art we saw when we were in Nova Scotia...yes...an inspiration for a post!!!
I've been futzing around for the last hour and a half trying to put together a post and creating nothing I want to publish!
Hi! This was wonderful. I love Halloween with all the ghosts and goblins. Thanks. Lisa
ReplyDeleteHalloween scares me so much I hide. It's not the candy passing out, it's not the little kids in their darling outfits, it's the adult assholes who ask me to doll them up and apply their make-up so they can go to parties and act like...well..assholes. it's almost as bad as new years eve. Sorry if I soiled your site with swear words, it's what I do when I'm scared.
ReplyDeleteMs. Utah Savage: I'm glad you left that comment, luv. Because...it happens to be one of my Halloween pet peeves. I'm more than a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to parties in general. All of which almost always involve a lot of booze and drama. As in the case of Halloween, add the costumes and I just can't take it.
ReplyDeleteOn profanity: people can swear at my place. But only if they're on my blog list! ;-) I don't think of it as "soiling", I think of it as freedom of expression. I swear way too much alongside only a very few people close to me, including my daughters. And sometimes I wonder if it might be too much. I have a hard time with angry swearing. I have done THAT to a few choice people too. All it did was make me feel kinda sick. :-(
So swearing is okay. Even angry swearing if it has a point. :-)
Kenju: ha! I have a hard enough time with Christmas! All I have up at my house is a lame plastic skeleton, about a yard and a half long; and two ugly pumpkins that I'm not even bothering to fashion into jack-o-lanterns.
ReplyDeleteI feel as if I should include a warning on my blog: if you want to know all kinds of useless and boring details about The Pagan Sphinx, just read the comments! ;-)
Pia: thank you for coming by for Ruby Tuesday!
Sherry: would YOU attend that open house????? Muuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaahaaahahahah!
Mark the PM: Good to see you! I'm been so uninspired to write posts in general and I've neglected the Peace Tree. I'll have to see if I can come up with a relevant, thought provoking...uhhh....image?
;-) (if you catch my drift)
Or maybe you need to know what the drift is before you can catch it???
:-)
Liberality: you must be a good witch!!! :-)
Just-me: THanks!
CR: ummmm...this is the first one I've noticed and I was struck! Who ever would've thought? Do crows like birdhouses? I don't think so. Caaaaaah!
Dear Dianne! I love your new photo blog. And I love to see your name on the RT list! ((hugs))
Peace, Love and general, all-around grooviness.
