Brilliante Award!

From a blogger who's quite brilliante herself, that coolest of cool women DivaJood.

I now bestow the dazzling award to some of the most effervescent boys in the neighborhood. Each appreciated by me for their unique talents.

Singing Bear - Gifted musicologist, music critic, poet and good friend

The Cunning Runt - Brilliante nature photographer and part of my family; as like...in the real world sphere.

The Poetryman Poet extraordinaire, lives for peace and peacefully lives; always

Ed of Enriched Geranium Musician and fine blog commenter on my esoteric music posts (thank you for indulging me)

and

Steve of Color Sweet Tooth - Savor the artist's colors; he is a luscious painter and incredible art commenter on my blog. Lucky me!

  1. Wow...

I'm a little awkward in situations where I get lumped in with real artistes, and brilliante ones to boot!

Thank you for this, I'm humbled! And thanks for not appending a laundry list of "must-dos" to it, I just might be able to figure out how to pass it on [scratches arm pit and grunts.]

  4. Pagan - thanks! I'm sure I don't deserve to stand in such fine company but I really appreciate it. Thank you for supporting my blogs over these past months. I'm sure we'll have lots more to share in the future. Love your blog. I'm looking forward to investigating the writings of my fellow recipients.

  5. How do you think I feel when I get an award like this and then I recommend the likes of these recipients??? But it's also kind of cool that people enjoy my blog enough to think of me, too. It makes kind of worthwhile to keep blogging. When I first started blogging I didn't really care if anyone was reading because I was enjoying it so much as an outlet for my whims and fancies. But now that I've met such great people through blogging, it's become more than that - I now look forward to people's comments. For one, I'm learning so much. For another, it just plain feels GREAT to get to know all of you.

I humbly thank you for stopping by as often as you do.

  6. Once again, late to the party. But you are brillante, my dear. Great choices too.

  7. Thanks so much for thinking of me! For reasons too lengthy to go into here, I don't participate in awards, but I'm touched that you included me in such lofty company.

  8. Wow. Congrats on getting this award from Divajood, and thanks for passing it on to me. I apologize for not noticing for so long, but I've been away from the Internet for the last 6 days.

I will try to live up to the high standard you set with your other choices - and up to the standard you set with your own blog.

  9. And one more thing... those comments I write are inspired by the thought provoking things you post. So it ain't "luck" at all - it's your own skill at teasing the gray matter and getting things going. You don't give yourself enough credit.

  10. Steve,
It means a lot to me that you feel that way about my posts - especially since I'm quite certain you're a person who says what he means. I'm so glad we're friends in the blogosphere. Truly.
