It made me go a little mad for a moment when McCain talked about "people acting irresponsibly"
As much as Fox News likes to portray the victims of the mortgage crisis as idiots or irresponsible borrowers or downright criminals the truth is - most of these people work hard and had every intention of keeping their homes.
Then comes layoffs and skyrocketing prices of all necessities AND the greedy lenders - all at once.
Isn't avoiding a situation like this what we have a government for!?
Just looking at McCain's smug face and Cindy in her Barbie Goes Flying suit makes me - well I'm still mad!
It's so easy for me to see the reasons for the desperation of the woman in the video. At one time, a lot of Americans had only a job loss or illness to worry about. Now people with four jobs in the family can't make ends meet enough to hang on to their homes.
McCain is a deplorable man. Like a lot of us here in this corner of the blogosphere, I worry and worry about the upcoming election...
dcup and runt: I think you are forgetting that most people get corporate propaganda instead of news and information. Your frustration shows why media activism is so important.

And yet, soooooo many struggling, working class people will vote for this guy.
ReplyDeleteI can't forgive them for imposing their idiocy on the rest of us; Willful Ignorance is inexcusable in my book.
Pardon me while I hurl.

I swear, it makes me crazy to think that so many people will continue to vote against their own economic interests.
