Fabulous, Sphinx -- he doesn't ever do anything but get better, does he? Have you seen this one? It's a much older piece of video -- and he's gorgeous. As well as, he sings good. I put in a linebreak so it wouldn't run out of the box -- you'll have to remove it when you copy and paste into the browser.
The title bar of my blog depicts an oil painting entitled Nymphs and Satyr by William Adolphe Bouguereau, located in the permanent collection at The Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

The Pagan Sphinx blog occasionally contains art images that depict nudes; either in photography or painting. I may occasionally reference or feature artists, writers and political thinkers who use profanity as a means of self-expression. If you are uncomfortable with the human form in art or the occasional, non-gratutious swear-wrod...well...you know what to do!
I'm a registered democrat but by no means moderate: I'm left of center and I often feature the art and ideas of people who are way more to the left than I; perhaps even considered radical or subversive in this society. This doesn't necessarily mean I agree with or endorse their ideas 100%, just that I value those whom I consider to be free thinking.
I like to contradict the assumption that all people who love art and culture are elitist snobs. I'm the child of immigrant factory workers. I was raised on a lot of love, an inferior education and all the books I could carry home from the public library. My father was an atheist and my mother a non-practicing Catholic. The result is perplexing - thus the moniker The Pagan Sphinx.
I celebrate the changing of the seasons in my own, unique spiritual ways; mostly through observation, reflection and divine appreciation. I'm not a neo-Pagan. However, there are those who think I'm a bit of a witch! ;-)
I go back and forth between believing in a Great Spirit and Creator and doubting its existence.

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - The mysterious half-smile that has intrigued viewers of the Mona Lisa for centuries isn’t really that difficult to interpret, Dutch researchers said Thursday. She was smiling because she was happy — 83 percent happy, to be exact, according to scientists from the University of Amsterdam.
