Healthcare Not Warfare

I'm on a roll with the legistlative action alerts. I agree with Jim Hightower that progressive ideas and ideals are not dead. I maintain a steadfast, stubborn hold on the democratic legislative process. I'm not ready to give up.

I know these organizations need and want our money and a lot of us are strapped, but watch the video and check out the website for what you can do even if you can't afford to support them.

    I've recently been pretty consistently giving the Minimum Amount to PACs who are doing work which I think is essential - PFAW, HRC, CFA, etc.

    Hey, the corporations which steer this ship never miss a chance to weight the argument with pallets of greenbacks; We The People better damn well get serious about supporting causes which are dear to us, or we might as well just concede our democracy and stop pretending to care.

    FCNL, HRC Mass Clean Water Action are all orgs that I'm supporting extra this year when my stimulus (ooooooh, touch me there and then fuck off! ;-) arrives. I do have important bills to pay, too, so I can't go crazy; as much as I'd like to.
