I just couldn't bring myself to write a post that was yet another nod to Memorial Day. Losing lives in war is deplorable to me; especially when the sacrifise is made on behalf of lies, power and greed. We owe it to our soldiers to stop this senseless war; not one day out of the year when we cook our burgers on the grill and put up a flag.
Thank you for taking the time to say you've been here.

ReplyDeleteDianne - I'm so glad you listened to the song! It's an incredible piece of writing on its own; without music.
ReplyDeleteBobbie and Sherry: Thanks!
Peace,
Pagan
A wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteI can't think of another word to describe this. As Dianne aptly said "haunting" This horrible war has broken many hearts and so many lives lost.
