I Will Be Your Mirror

written by Lou Reed
In anticipation of his concert next Saturday, I've been on a Lou Reed kick. This is dedicated to my daughter Supergirl Two who gets starry-eyed when she talks about Nico.

I love you.

  2. Hi, singingbear. I was just talking to my daughter today about Nico. Although she thinks of the young Nico as quirky and fun, she's fully aware that she was a casualty of drug abuse.

I tried to teach my kids not to fear the lifestyles of others at the expense of never knowing their point of view; creative or otherwise.

The same goes for not fearing the color, creed, religion, gender and sexual orientation of others. I'm so glad they get it.
