written by Lou Reed In anticipation of his concert next Saturday, I've been on a Lou Reed kick. This is dedicated to my daughter Supergirl Two who gets starry-eyed when she talks about Nico.
Hi, singingbear. I was just talking to my daughter today about Nico. Although she thinks of the young Nico as quirky and fun, she's fully aware that she was a casualty of drug abuse.
I tried to teach my kids not to fear the lifestyles of others at the expense of never knowing their point of view; creative or otherwise.
The same goes for not fearing the color, creed, religion, gender and sexual orientation of others. I'm so glad they get it.
Thank you for taking the time to say you've been here.

Gotta love Nico! Adore her stuff with VU and solo. Seeing Lou? Brilliant!
