ReplyDeleteBobbie: I'm glad you liked this painting. Childe-Hassam is an amazing American impressionist who produced some truly spectacular images. He painted a lot of city scenes - this one, in NYC and others abroad. Really beautiful stuff.
Hi, imac: winter seems romantic in these paintings but NYC winters have always been tamer than the ones we experience here in Massachusetts, so close to Vermont.
