First, a young Jeff Bridges (with Cybil Shepard and others) in the great 1971 film The Last Picture Show
And then as The Dude in The Big Lebowski (a Coen Brothers film) with music by Kenny Rogers and The First Edition (that's the "music for Sunday" part. ;-)

I'm shamefully way behind when it comes to the Coen brothers. Only ever knowingly seen two of their films but I really want to try to catch up this year. Love the Kenny Rogers song.
ReplyDeleteCybil Shepard...sigh. :)
I hear Bridges is amazing in his new film, of course the name escapes me, it's about a down and out old singer trying to come back and falling in love with a young reporter
ReplyDeleteI adore him, he's so sexy in a craggy real way
Nice! Big time love for both these movies in my house. Seen them both many times over.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaaaah...SB likes Cybil Shepard, Dianne likes Jeff Bridges and I, Pagan Sphinx, finds them both incredibly sexy. Though if push came to shove, I think Jeff would win. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI want to see every great movie ever made, at least twice, before I die! I'm not too hard to please, now am I?
Love to you guys
The Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies but I love Jeff Bridges and the Coen Brothers too.
