As a kid I...I have always loved Escher's work. As a kid I played around with tessellations - but never anything as elaborate as his, and never in circles! And the knowledge that all of this precision was done by hand - no mechanical assistance, is amazing to me.<br /><br />One of my favorites is the angels and devils tessellation.
