Sky Watch Friday

In recent Sky Watch posts, I've been featuring Nova Scotia, where we travel each year for a week or two. This photos, however, is a sky I don't have to travel very far to enjoy, as it is practically in my front yard.  I see a stretch of this river, the Connecticut, from our picnic table. This particular photo was not taken on land but from the boat we take out on the river throughout the summer to cool off.

The temperatures in the Northeast have been in the mid-90's F. this week. This photo wasn't taken this week, though. If memory serves, it was a couple of weeks ago. Interestingly, it was much cooler than it has been this week of public school re-opening. But that's New England for ya.  ;-)

  5. We've been seeing so many beautiful skyscapes across the continent it's hard to choose the best but coming into Riviere du Loup yesterday afternoon was pretty good. We're about 500 miles from Halifax this morning and planning to take 2 days to make the distance just so we can slow down a bit after the momentum of the rest. It wouldn't be bad either to avoid the hurricane they say is likely for Saturday.
All the best to you, my friend.
